IGBO DAY 2018 took place on Saturday the 4th of August 2018 at the Saffron Centre in Birmingham. Over 500 people attended including the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, the Mayor of Dudley and the Deputy Mayor of Sandwell. Also attending was BBC Newscaster and Journalist, Mr Nkem Ifejika and Labour Councillor Cecil Osakwe Hibbert of Wolverhampton as well as various dignitaries from all over the UK and Nigeria.

Live music was supplied by Wilson "SoGreat" Nwane and the Soprecs. It was a glorious evening with live dance troupes, food, music and a real dose of Igbo culture.
